Ms. Nour Al Shoufi

Ms. Nour Al-Shoufi is a dedicated Psychologist and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with over 9 years of experience in academic skills development and behavioral therapy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Education, Damascus University (2010), and received her RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) in January 2022. Since relocating to the UAE in 2015, Ms. Nour has focused her extensive knowledge and expertise on supporting children with special needs, including those with autism, learning difficulties, and ADHD, by developing and implementing tailored treatment plans.

Ms. Nour’s areas of expertise are diverse and comprehensive. She has gained significant experience in managing learning disorders and difficulties through her work as a teacher for special needs students and implementing the integration plan for the Ministry of Education in the UAE. Her role involved developing treatment plans and enhancing the developmental and academic skills of children. Additionally, her work as a psychologist includes conducting psychoeducational evaluations using standardized tests such as the Stanford-Binet and Vineland to determine a child’s intelligence and adaptability within their environment.

In her role as a behavioral therapist, Ms. Nour excels in implementing individualized behavioral plans and skill acquisition strategies, working closely with supervisors from the BACB. She is committed to enhancing communication and social interaction skills among her clients, fostering their ability to engage effectively with peers. Her dedication to evidence-based practices and her compassionate approach make her an asset to the field of behavioral therapy and child development.
