Senior Occupational Therapist

Dr. Soni Kumari is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist in pediatric and adult rehabilitation since 2011. She completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from CCS University in 2010, followed by a Master of Occupational Therapy in Pediatrics from Utkal University in 2014. She further earned her Ph.D. in Pediatrics from Mahatma Gandhi University, India, in 2023.

Dr. Soni has worked with prestigious government and private healthcare institutions, including AIIMS Delhi, Swami Dayanand Hospital, Air Force Hindan Hospital, Sunder Lal Jain Hospital, Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital, and GB Pant Hospital. She has collaborated with the Social Welfare Department, managing adult psychiatric rehabilitation programs, and served as a consultant for multiple private clinics and schools, providing assessments, interventions, and developmental guidance.

As an Early Intervention Specialist, Dr. Soni has expertise in high-risk infant care, NICU management, and post-discharge developmental follow-up. Her clinical skills include neurodevelopmental treatment techniques, sensory-based enrichment, specialized feeding interventions, and environmental modification for both clinic and home-based care. She is dedicated to promoting early developmental outcomes through screening, therapeutic intervention, and family-centered care.

Dr. Soni has treated a wide range of pediatric and developmental conditions, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Genetic Disorders, and Conduct Disorder. She is also certified in Learning Disability assessment and intervention.

Her approach focuses on individualized assessment, goal-oriented intervention, and homebased programs to enhance sensory, gross and fine motor, cognitive, and pre-academic skills. She emphasizes empowering families through parental training, progress monitoring, and environmental adaptations across home, clinic, and school settings, ensuring holistic growth and development for every child.
