When Madiyah was born she had a right hand erbs Palsy Her delivery was really difficult, and the doctor had to pull her to prevent brain damage of my baby, and lose her. The doctor recommended me to wait till she completes 2 weeks of her age. I couldn’t wait longer, so I went to different physiotherapy centres in the country till I heard from my Mother in Law about Midrif Centre for Physiotherapy and rehabilitation. I took her medical report of her condition and present it with Mrs. Rachel (Madiyah’ s Physiotherapist), and she gave me her opinion according to her case and methods of carefully handling Madiyah at home, for instant, ways of dressing her, carrying her, and etc.

In second session, Mrs. Rachel shared with me her plan for Madiyah therapy progress for the whole year. As per as to our discussion in the previous session, Mrs. Rachel briefed me about her expectation on Madiyah performance, and I requested to meet her 4 times a week. As Madiyah’ s mother I saw a huge different from day 1 to 1 week, and from 1 month to 3 months, and from 6 months to 9 months, and till today I can see an amazing change in my daughter’s hand.

As every mother’s concern, I had doubts that my daughter will not crawl like other babies that would help them to have strong hands muscles, plus difficult in walking due to her hand where she is unable to raise her hand to reach anything to lay on. But after the progress of 4 sessions per week that both Mrs. Rachel and Madiyah reached, I was amazed to see my daughter properly crawling like every other baby, and no one can notice that she have erbs palsy.

When Madiyah completed 11 months, Mrs. Rachel advised me to request MR. Fadi for occupational therapy, to reshape Madiyah’ s hand, and help Madiyah to be independent to carry, play, walk, eat, hold, grasp, and other different activities. I would never stop thanking Mrs. Rachel for this advice, and because of Mr. Fadi I can see my daughter’s hand shape is normal again and hardly to find the differences. I do really appreciate the Centre with all the faculty as well, for there welcoming, following up, concerns, and advises for better health of my daughter and performance. I would definitely thank both Mr. Rachel and Mr. Fadi for their kindness and commitment to reach beyond my expectation in a really short time. Today Madiyah is 1 year and 1 month and she can walk, and carry things with both hands.  Well done, I am proud of my daughter no matter what, but as I said I can’t stop thanking the centre for their commitment. Thanks a lot; I will always recommend the centre to my family, friends, and colleagues.
